How we handle your data

This notice explains how Heiyo Oy processes personal data sent to us through the contact form on heiyo.fi or by email. We keep it simple: we only collect what we need to reply to you.

2. What data we collect

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, company name and the content of your message. We don't ask for any other personal data.

3. Why we use it and on what basis

We use your data to reply to your message and, if you wish, to discuss and prepare a possible assignment. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

4. How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to an assignment, we delete your message and details within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep the data for as long as the client relationship and statutory record-keeping require.

5. Who else handles it

We don't sell or share your data. It is handled only by us and the service providers that run our website and email: Lovable (website hosting) and Resend (email delivery). If any of them processes data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is protected with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.

6. Cookies

This website uses only cookies that are necessary for it to work. We don't use analytics or marketing cookies.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive it in a portable format. Just email hello@heiyo.fi. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi/en).
